Salles Familiar With Tough Races

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We missed the preflop action, but we understand that Mike Fosco cold four-bet shoved for 96,000 with {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}. It looks like Gualter Salles was the three-bettor from the table layout, and the former F1 racer made the call to put Fosco at risk. They were flipping, and Salles' growing rail of Brazilians sprang to their feet as their man showed down {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds}.

The {7-Spades} {7-Hearts} {4-Clubs} flop was clean for Salles, but the {A-Spades} on fourth street drew a unison hiss from his rail. The river came the {4-Hearts}, and Salles is forced to part with about half his stack. He's down to about 95,000 now, doubling Fosco up over 200,000 in the process.
