Nguyen Doubles Through Fehlig

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With the board reading {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, Paul Fehlig bet out only to find Kenny Nguyen move all in. Fehlig called, tabling {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for trip queens, but was behind Nguyen's {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} nut flush. The river bricked out for Fehlig when then {2-Spades} hit, and Nguyen was able to double up to about 31,000 while Fehlig dropped to 136,000.

Justin Schwartz Bubbles - We're in the Money!

During hand-for-hand play, we found Hungary's Imre Karpati in the far end of the Purple section, who was running on fumes with less than 3,000 in chips. He was only more than happy to just keep letting the antes eat away slowly at his stack, and to his delight, the bubble burst over in the Orange section and we are now in the money!

As the other dealers had stood up, there was one more hand playing out between Jeff Ostrom and Justin Schwartz on a board that read {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Schwartz checked, Ostrom bet 15,000 and Schwartz called, then he checked again on the river of the {4-Clubs}. Ostrom shoved for 50,000, Schwartz tanked and then called all-in for 33,000.

Ostrom showed {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair.

Schwartz mucked and was eliminated on the bubble. Everyone left is now in the money.

Parker's Stack Grows

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Brock Parker limped from middle position and the player on the button moved all in for 12,300. Parker moved all in over the top and the rest of the players in the hand folded.

Parker: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The board fell {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Parker was able to send one home, bringing his stack up to 100,000.

Myung Makes His Way Home

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

We caught up with the action on an ace high board after all of John Myung's chips were in the middle against his opponent. Myung had the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} in front of him but was behind the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} of his opponent. The turn and river were of no help to Myung and he quickly made his way out of the Amazon Room.

Grondin On the Move

Laurence Grondin called an opening raise of 2,400 from the small blind. She went heads up to the flop of {3-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts}. Grondin check-called 3,200 from her opponent and the {6-Hearts} came on the turn. Grondin check-called 6,300 and the river fell {9-Hearts}.

Grondin took the lead on the river and bet out 5,500. Her opponent leaned back in his chair and smiled,"Aww, that was the perfect bluff card for me. There's no way I can call." He mucked his cards and Grondin continues to build her stack.

Fehlig's Hit the Lead!

Paul Fehlig had only just arrived at table 362 when Kenny Nguyen piped up, "Hey man, where'd you get all those chips from, man?"

"I know one of the floor guys here," Fehlig joked. "He let me take them all from the cage!"

No clandestine operations here ladies and gents - we can reveal that he's doubled his original starting stack and is now our new chip leader!
