Raymer Snapped Off

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in early position opened for 550 and Greg Raymer re-raised to 1,400 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to the original raiser, who called.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Spades} and the early position player check-called a 1,600 bet from Raymer. Both players checked the {10-Spades} turn. However, on the {7-Clubs} river, Raymer's opponent checked, prompting a 3,800 bet from Raymer. His opponent fell hard into the tank, but eventually mustered a call.

"You're probably good," said Raymer. His opponent was hesitant and said, "I don't have a really good hand."

Raymer flipped over {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and his opponent showed {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}, which was good enough to ship him the pot.

"Sorry for the slowroll," Raymer's opponent said.

Raymer is down to 33,000.
