Deeb check-called a bet on fourth, then check-raised on fifth. Ellis called on fifth, then made a bet of his own when he was allowed to on sixth. Deeb check-folded, and Ellis showed him his down cards, opening up for trips.
Scott Bohlman completed with the , and Paul Volpe flatted showing the .

Volpe: (x-x) / / (x)
Both men checked on fourth street, and Volpe took his cue to bet on fifth. Bohlman raised, though, and Volpe called the extra bet. He also check-called bets on sixth and seventh streets.
Bohlman opened up / , and the two pair earned him the pot. Volpe is left with just 900 lonely chips.
We caught the action on fifth street when Huck Seed bet and a short-stacked Philip Tom raised, leaving himself just 300 behind. Seed called and then led out on sixth, and Tom called off.

Tom was ahead when the money went in with his six-high straight, but Seed was drawing to a jack for a bigger straight. He squeezed out the last card and it was a blank.
Eugene Katchalov completed with the only to have Nick Schulman, who was showing the , raise. Katchalov was not deterred as he put in a three-bet, which Schulman called. The latter proceeded to call bets by the former on both the turn and fifth street, but then woke up with a raise after Katchalov bet sixth. A call was made and then Katchalov check-raised Schulman's bet on seventh.

Schulman thought for a few moments before releasing his hand.
Just before the break we caught a fairly big hand on fifth street. It was at that point David Singer led out and was called by both Shaun Deeb and Freddie Ellis. Singer slowed down with a check on sixth, opening the door for Deeb to bet. Ellis and Singer both called and the same action took place on seventh, minus Singer calling as he opted to fold.

Ellis' pair of kings was second best to Deeb's queens and threes, giving the five-time SCOOP winner the pot.
Andy Bloch completed with the and was met with a raise by Matthew Kelly. The rest of the field got out of the way and Bloch called. Kelly led out on the turn and fifth street, and while Bloch just called the former, he raised the latter. This time it was Kelly calling, and he proceeded to call bets on sixth and seventh streets.

Kelly was no doubt glad he did as his two pair proved the winner.
