Makhija Spikes Two-Pair

Robert Williamson III opened to 350 from the button and found one caller in Amit Makhija from the big blind.

The flop brought a {Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both players checked.

Both players checked again on the {9-Diamonds} turn, however, Makhija would check no more after a {6-Spades} landed on the river. Instead, he fired out 500 and Williamson quickly called. Makhija tabled {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a rivered two-pair and Williamson mucked.

Despite the small hit, Williamson has chipped up nicely since coming back from break and is up to 14,000. Makhija, on the other hand, has fallen to 6,300.

Nguyen Bluffs

We caught up with the action on a board reading {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, where World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's Chester Main Event champion Kenny Nguyen fired a 1,250 bet into the pot against a lone opponent.

Nguyen's opponent fell into the tank before saying, "You gonna show?"

"I'll show," Nguyen replied with a smile.

"I put you on clubs," Nguyen's opponent said. He then folded {K-}{10-} for a pair of kings face up.

"Here's a club," Nguyen said - revealing the {10-Clubs}. "You still want to see the other? It might be a bluff."

"Yeah, show it."

Nguyen revealed his second card - the {7-Diamonds} for a stone bluff.

"Ahhh, I should have shipped it preflop," Nguyen's opponent said.

Nguyen is up to 8,500.

Timoshenko Packs & Then Unpacks

Yevgeniy Timoshenko
Yevgeniy Timoshenko

Yevgeniy Timoshenko opened in early position for 150, a player called on his left, the player on the button raised to 550 and the big blind called. Action was back on Timoshenko and he moved all in. The first caller folded, the button called and the big blind folded.

Timoshenko: {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}
Button: {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

The board ran {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {J-Spades} {2-Clubs} and Timoshenko grabbed his bag, threw it over his shoulder and stood up to leave. Then the dealer peeled off the {7-Hearts} river card and Timoshenko laughed, "That's the first time I've done that."

"Everything About You Says You Have It."

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

We found Daniel Negreanu facing a big decision on the river. The board read {7-Spades} {3-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} and his opponent, the small blind, bet 2,750.

"How can I fold?" Negreanu mumbled to himself. "I want to call but everything about you says you have it."

"Do you want me to do something else?" his opponent asked. Then he covered his face with his hoodie.

After hemming and hawing for few moments Negreanu tossed in the call and the small blind said, "Aw, you've got it."

Negreanu tabled {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} for two pair and his opponent showed {9-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} for busted flush and straight draws.
