Drawing Thin to Nguyen

Eric Wasserson opened the button with a raise, and Kennii Nguyen three-bet shoved from the big blind. It was just over 300,000 total, and Wasserson made the call with pocket nines. Nguyen was in bad shape as he turned over {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}.

The first four board cards came {4-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {J-Spades} {A-Diamonds}, and Nguyen was drawing thin. Two outs was all he had, and two outs was all he needed. The {7-Hearts} peeled off on the river, and Nguyen let out a loud, "Yeah, baby!" He's found his double, and Wasserson instantly reached for his phone to tweet about the bad beat. He's still got just over 400,000 left.
