This is it folks! The waiting is finally over! The very best poker players in the world all under one roof - the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It is of course the World Series of Poker and in a little over 60-minutes we will be kicking off the first big field event, when cards are thrown everywhere in Event #2: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.
Last year we had to wait until Event #18 before we had our first $1,500 NLHE event. That event drew in a starting field of 3,157 players and Foster Hays walked away with $735,400 and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
Let's hope that the Memorial Day hangovers are gone, because the WSOP bracelet hunt is well and truly on!
