Late Level 12 Eliminations

Alioto Wins One

Dario Alioto was under the gun when he opened up the pot. The player on the button then three-bet and it was back on Alioto who four-bet. A call from the button player and a {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop was dealt. Alioto proceeded to fire out a bet on the flop and received a call, the same as on the turn ({4-Hearts}). On the river ({7-Diamonds}), Alioto flicked out another bet and this time his opponent folded and Alioto took down the hand.

Lindgren Loses One

Erick Lindgren has just sent a portion of his chips to Michael Winnett and we were at the table to catch the action from the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop. Winnett checked here and then called a bet from Lindgren. The {k-Hearts} turn would see the same actions as the flop and the {3-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. This time both players checked and Lindgren would muck his hand as Winnett tabled {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

More Eliminations

Tran Wins Off Shak

JC Tran opened it up from early position and Dan Shak made the call in the small blind as the two players took to a {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. Shak checked here and Tran flicked out a bet. A call from Shak and a {9-Diamonds} would hit the turn. Same as the flop, Shak would check-call a bet from Tran. The {7-Diamonds} was the last card on the board and Shak opted to again check-call.

Tran tabled his {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, enough to see Shak's cards fly into the muck, while Tran raked in the pot.
