German pro Florian Langmann is known for his runner up finish in EPT London 2007 for just under $700,000, and finishing fourth in the €25,000 Monte Carlo High Roller in 2009 for $247,000. He's been having a great day so far picking up aces twice in big pots.
He told us about winning a 30,000 chip pot with aces against kings, and just knocked out Doug Lee in another big pot. Langmann raised to 500 and Lee three-bet him to 2,100. Action got folded back to Langmann who put in 3,700 after which Lee went all in for right around 11,000. Langmann snap-called.

Today's event started with 924 players all putting in $3,000 to compete for the 23rd World Series of Poker gold bracelet of 2012. A total prize pool of $2,522,520 was created paying out 108 spots.
Reaching the final table will get you $68,738 and the winner will go home with a massive $567,624 payday. As of now we are down to 510 players and the average stack is 16,306.

We caught the action with a ton of chips already moved into the middle. We were still pre flop and Hafiz Khan was pondering over a huge decision. The player to his left was all in for 3,350 while Cary Katz, on Khan's right, put his 12,150 chips into the pot. Khan had invested 500 chips into the pot and thought for quite some time before making the call.

Paul Kobel is a World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion dating back to 2006. He won $316,144 after outlasting 1,007 opponents in a $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event back when poker was poker!
He currently has 25,950 after eliminating an opponent versus . Kobel hitting his jack on the river and his opponent called an all-in river bet.
The hijack opened up for 400 and Eric Froehlich moved all-in for 5,850 on the button. The player in the small blind called and the hijack moved all-in. A pained expression came over the face of the small blind as he realised he couldn't call for the rest of his stack. He placed his 5,850 in the middle and folded his hand leaving the pair heads up.
