Brutal Day Ends For Kenney

His girlfriend Ana Marquez was just eliminated by running into aces and Bryn Kenney did it the other way around. He had aces twice and lost both times knocking him out towards the end of the fourth level.

Kenny told us he first ran aces into aces for a 4,000 chip pot in which opponent made a flush. Not long after that he raised from the cutoff to 550 and the button called. The flop came down {A-}{K-}{10-} with two spades and Kenney put in a 1,050 continuation bet. His opponent called and the turn was a {5-}. Kenny put in a 2,200 bet and his opponent decided to move all in. Kenney had started the hand with 11,000 chips and made the call for his tournament life.

His top set was well in front against {5-Spades}{3-Spades} for a pair and a flush draw. Kenney could only been knocked out by a spade, and the river brought out the {9-Spades}. A short day for Kenney and Marquez who could still smile after losing a bunch of brutal hands.

Matt 'Pez' Perrins Eliminates Ana Marquez

Matt 'Pez' Perrins is a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet holder. He won his little piece of gold during last years series when he took down the $1,500 2-7 Draw Lowball event despite having never played the game before in his life!

Pez has just become one of the most hated men on his table after eliminating the gorgeous Ana Marquez (and boy was she looking gorgeous today). Perrins raised under the gun and there was a caller before Marquez squeezed out a three-bet from the small blind. Perrins made the call and the flop was {4-} {4-} {5-}. Marquez bet and Perrins just called. The turn was the {2-} and Marquez moved all-in and Perrins called it off.

Perrins{A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}
Marquez{A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}

The river bricked off and Perrins doubled up to 29,000 and Marquez was out.

Level 4 Action

Former November Niner Jason Senti is doing well and has 30,000 chips. He is seated to the direct left of JP Kelly and while we were at the table Kelly had jammed for 6,250 but did not get any takers.

Joey Spanne just eliminated Chris McClung after rivering jacks-full on a {4-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {4-Spades} {J-Spades} board. McClung calling off the shove on the river. Spanne now has 36,000 chips.

Last but not least Kyle Bowker has doubled up. He got it all in holding pocket tens and flopped a set against his opponents {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades}. Bowker has 22,000.

Freddy Deeb Eliminates Soi Nguyen

Freddy Deeb
Freddy Deeb

Freddy Deeb has just removed Soi Nguyen from the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em equation after the pair played for stacks on a flop of {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. Deeb was holding {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} and Nguyen {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}. The turn {6-Diamonds} brought in the flush for Deeb and and the unnecessary {4-Clubs} finished off the board. Nguyen was out and Deeb moved up to 29,000.
