Break!

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

The players are on their second break of the day. Most of the remaining tables are at least three-handed, but we'll have a few heads-up matches returning in 20 minutes. Stay tuned!

The Bear Sends One Home

We found a player all in preflop against the small blind and Barry Greenstein in the big blind. The small blind and Greenstein checked a flop of {4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and the turn brought the {9-Clubs}. Greenstein bet out and his opponent mucked. Greenstein tabled {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for top pair and the all in player showed {7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

The {K-Clubs} finished out the board on fifth street and Greenstein was able to send one to the rail. His table is now playing four handed.

Both players checked and Froelich's opponent showed {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Froelich threw his hand away and the pot was pushed the way of his opponent.

Matros vs. Karr

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

Poker pros Matt Matros and McLean Karr are now heads up over in the Bronze section. Both are wishing they had an easier draw going forward.

Karr: "There are other people I'd rather be heads up with."

Matros: "Me too."

Matros has about a two-to-one-lead over Karr right now.

Two Pair For Ho

We found four players going to the flop, one of whom was all in. The flop came down {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades} and one player and Maria Ho checked to the button who bet. The first player called and Ho raised. The button replied by three-betting and the third wheel in the hand got out of the way.

Ho four-bet and the button called. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Ho bet out again. She was called and the {J-Diamonds} rivered. Lather, rinse, repeat and Ho tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flopped two pair. Her opponent mucked but the all in player showed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Ho tapped the table with a smile on her face, scooping the side pot that was larger than the main pot. She now sitting on about 11,000.

Cantu Eliminated; Engel and Little Heads Up

Brandon Cantu was recently sent packing, thrusting Ari Engel and Jonathan Little into the first heads up match of the day. We found the two clashing on a {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop. Little bet out and Engel called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Little continued out with a bet. Engel tossed out a raise which was called by Little. The river was the {A-Diamonds} and Little check-called one final bet from Engel.

Engel tabled {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a turned two pair and Little mucked his hand.
