Eric Froehlich is smiling on the inside.

We caught up with Eric Froehlich in a hand against Michael Aron. The flop fell {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} {A-Clubs}, Froehlich checked and Aron bet 8,000. Froehich called and then both players checked the {5-Clubs} turn. The river came {3-Hearts}, Froehlich checked a third time and Aron checked behind him.

Froehlich tabled {6-Clubs} {5-Spades} for a boat and Aron mucked his hand.

Veldhuis Hits the Rail

Lex Veldhuis - Eliminated
Lex Veldhuis - Eliminated

Alex Hering opened with a raise to 3,200 and Lex Velduis moved all in from the button. The other two players at the table folded and Hering snap called, tabling {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} which was dominating Veldhuis' {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Veldhuis' tournament life came to an end. Hering, on the other hand, is now sitting on 130,000 in chips.

Obrestad's Shove Does The Job

We found the player under the gun put out a raise preflop to 2,500. Brian Rast called from the button and the small blind called as well. Annette Obrestad peeked at her cards and then moved her entire stack to the middle for a raise to 29,600.

Just like that three hands shot quickly into the muck and Obrestad was able to take down the pot.

"Yeah! It worked!" exclaimed Obrestad as she stacked her newly attained chips.

Kings Full For Petersen

Mickey Petersen
Mickey Petersen

With the board reading {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} we found Mickey Petersen pushing out a bet of 10,300. His opponent called rather quickly and we were off to fifth.

The {8-Spades} came on the river and paired the board. Petersen waited a moment before shoving out 17,600 in chips. His opponent announced "Call" and Petersen showed {K-Spades}{k-Clubs}. His opponent shook his head and shot his hand at the muck while Petersen dragged in the nice sized pot.
