Who says poker is a young man’s game? Step aside online poker wizards, young gun slingers, and wunderkinds today is Event 29: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship. The Seniors Championship is reserved for players age 50 and over, and plans on being strictly enforced this year. With over 2,000 players expected to play today we will see plenty of poker being played from a wide variety of characters with plenty of stories to share.

Last year James Hess walked away with the bracelet and a nice pay day of $557,435. This year we expect the same kind of outcome with players shoveling up the $1,000 buy-in for the chance to chase poker glory.

We plan on playing 11 levels today, so stay tuned here at PokerNews for all the exclusive details.
