We don't know exactly how the action went preflop, but we do know that Hess three-bet to 5,000 and his opponent four-bet shoved for 8,725. Hess made the call and cards were tabled.
The board came and Hess was eliminated when his ace high couldn't hold up against his opponent's pair of queens.
A player in early position moved all in for 4,500 and action folded to the cut-off who then moved all in herself for 6,925. Dennis Phillips in the small blind thought for a little bit before making the call.

The board came and Phillips was forced to forfeit the hand when he came up second best.
Over at table #5 we noticed a limp pot a brewing with about five players on a board. The big blind was the first to strike out and bet 2,000. Action then folded around to Adam Weinraub in middle position who moved all in.
The table folded back to the big blind who folded showing and Weinraub showed for king high, Weinraub now sits around 20,000.
A player in middle position started a recent hand out by making it 1,200 to anyone who wanted to see a flop. A player in late position made the call, as did Dennis Phillips in the big blind.
The flop came and all three players knuckled the table for checks. A on the turn saw a repeat of action with the three players checking.
The on the river saw Phillips wake up and bet 3,000. The middle position player folded and the late position player made the call.
Phillips tabled for the straight and his opponent mucked his hole cards. While raking in the pot Phillips said "Neither one of you wanted to bet!?" acknowledging that he could have won a bigger pot.
Marcel Luske limped in from early position and was quickly faced with a bet of 1,725 from a player who moved all in from middle position. Luske completed the call and cards were tabled.
Luske:
Opponent:
The board came and Luske's pair of tens were best.
A couple of hands later we saw Luske raise from early position to make it 1,200. The table folded around to the big blind who made the call. The flop came and the big blind checked. Luske took this opportunity to bet 1,600. The big blind then moved all in for about 12,000. Luske folded, but sits around 36,000 in chips.
