Phillips Drags In a Monster

Joe Cada had the button and pushed out a raise to 250,000. Carter Phillips called from the big blind and the two saw a flop of {4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Phillips checked and Cada continued for 250,000. Phillips opted to check-raise, making it 590,000 and Cada called.

The {4-Diamonds} turned and Phillips bet 1,050,000. Cada thought for a moment before calling and the river complete the board with the {3-Clubs}.

Phillips pushed out a bet of 2,000,000 chips. Cada tanked for over a minute before announcing a call.

Phillips flipped up {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} and Cada could only shake his head. Cada sent his hand to the muck and an enormous pot was pushed toward Phillips.

Cada Wins a Flip to Double and Take the Lead

Joe Cada raised to 250,000 on the button only to find Carter Phillips three-bet to 600,000. Cada replied by four-betting all in and Phillips quickly announced a call.

Cada was ahead with his pair and stayed that way on the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop. Phillips needed to pair to end the match here, but could not do it as the turn brought the {8-Clubs} and the river the {9-Diamonds}.

The cries of joy from Cada's rail once again filled the Pavilion. Cada has now reclaimed the chip lead.

Cada Under Four Million

Carter Phillips opened to 250,000 from the button. Joe Cada thought for a moment before shoving out a three-bet to 550,000. Phillips announced all in and Cada mucked.

Two hands later Phillips opened to 250,000 on the button and Cada smooth called. The flop was {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Cada check-called a 200,000 bet. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and both players checked.

The two checked once again on the {9-Diamonds} river and Phillips showed {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a rivered pair of nines. It was good and he took the pot.

A Pot Pushed to Cada

Carter Phillips made it 250,000 from the button and Joe Cada called. The two saw a flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Cada checked. Phillips continued out for 200,00 and Cada called.

Both checked fourth street when the {6-Spades} turned and Cada fired 375,000 on the {K-Clubs} river. Phillips tossed in a call.

Cada tabled {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for kings and tens with a queen kicker. Phillips showed a ten and mucked his hand, giving Cada the pot.

Phillips Gets Some Back

Joe Cada made it 240,000 from the button and Carter Phillips called from the big blind. The dealer showed the two players a flop of {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Phillips check-called a bet of 225,000.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Phillips took this opportunity to fire 350,000 into the middle. Cada opted to muck his hand and Phillips grabbed the pot.

Cada Takes One

Joe Cada called on the button and Carter Phillips checked his option.

The dealer produced a flop of {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Phillips checked. Cada bet 200,000 only to have Phillips come over the top for 500,000.

Cada thought for a moment before moving all in. Phillips mucked his hand and Cada was pushed the pot.
