Another Double For Le

Nam Le
Nam Le

Tom Chambers opened to 6,500 from the hijack and the player on the button three-bet to about 17,000. Nam Le was in the big blind and he four-bet all in for 34,000. Chambers folded, the players on the button called with {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, and Le tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

The board ran out {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades} as Le's flopped set dodged the broadway draw.

Moutinho Doubles Back

Erika Moutinho
Erika Moutinho

Right after losing most of her stack to Dwyte Pilgrim, Erika Moutinho got her remaining chips in the middle holding {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} before the flop. Moutinho was called by Jim Collopy who held {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop spelled disaster for Moutinho, falling {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and giving Collopy two pair. Moutinho got up from her seat and began to gather her belongings as the {10-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Much to her surprise, the {8-Spades} rolled off on the river, giving her aces up and the best hand.

Falling Stacks in the Forrest

A shorter stacked player moved all in before the flop for 51,000 from middle position. It folded to Ted Forrest in the cutoff who riffled chips for a bit before announcing a call. The rest of the table folded and the hands were shown:

Forrest: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Spades} and Forrest was forced to ship chips across the table to his opponent.

Aron Busts Smith To Grab The Chip Lead

Michael Aron just took over the chip lead after busting two opponents. Dan Smith had opened the action with a raise to 9,000 in early position and the next player to act shoved for 48,000. Aron was in late position and re-raised all in with the biggest stack of the bunch. The button and blinds folded, Smith called, and the cards were on their backs.

Smith: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Aron: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Third Player: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, keeping Smith in the lead.

"If you are going to bust me, might as well be with quads," said Smith.

The {9-Hearts} turn kept Smith ahead, but the {A-Spades} hit the river to give Aron tens full of aces to win the pot and up his stack to about 570,000-ish in the process.
