Action Table #446

Table #446 has been crazy-active since they drew on one table. Some players are happy, some are sad, and some are missing and presumed sad.

A happy Joseph Cheong is back on the up after busting the presumed sad Bahram Zohri.

Scott Bohlman and Hans Winzeler are happy after each doubling though the sad Jonas Entin, who's had his stack chopped down twice.

Bohlman, Cheong and Entin all saw a {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop. Bohlman bet 40,000, Entin raised pot, Cheong folded and Bohlman shoved all in. Call.

Entin: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Bohlman: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Both had top two-pair but the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to make Bohlman a full house.

Le Charge Halted

Tommy Le was doing his very best to catch the runaway Japanese train, and was on schedule until he ran into Chris De Maci.

At the turn the board read {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and there had been a bet-call between the two on the flop. Le check-called a 28,000 bet there, and a 46,000 bet on the {q-Clubs} river.

De Maci opened {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and won. Le was frustrated and showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} as he mucked.

Tommy Le now has just under 1 million chips
Tommy Le now has just under 1 million chips

Tommy Le has just wiped Michael Fosco and Andrew Watson from the face of this tournament. It was a three way pre flop all-in car crash.

Le{A-Clubs} {A-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}
Watson{A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Fosco{Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

Board: {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {9-Diamonds}

Both players pick up $20,579 and Le has just under 1 million chips.

Hindin Leaps Up the Leaderboard

Daniel Hindin just scooped a monster pot off his neighbour Michael Fosco.

Hindin's remaining 240,000 were being counted by the dealer so he could cut them out of Fosco's stack. Around 80,000 had made it into the pot before the rest went in on the river of a {3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board.

Hindin tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a rivered straight.
Fosco looked devastated with his {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} messily laid out in front of him.

MacPhee Doubles Up, Cheong Finds a River and Boujenah Busts

Ilan Boujenah - 19th Place
Ilan Boujenah - 19th Place

Three quick stories for you and then we will head out and get you a seat draw because we are down to the final three-tables of this bad boy.

Kevin MacPhee has doubled up through Andrew Watson. Watson has 256,000 chips and MacPhee now has 160,000. Joseph Cheong just found a magical river to outdraw Hans Winzeler. The board was {8-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {6-Spades} {5-Hearts} {10-Spades} and Cheong showed down {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {2-Hearts} to drag in a 150,000 pot. Cheong is up to 450,000 and Winzeler joins the shorties at 140,000. Finally, Ilan Boujenah has been eliminated and his stack is now sitting on top of Tommy Le's stack. Le has 600,000 chips.

Battling Boujenah

Ilan Boujenah has been battling a short stack since before the bubble burst. He has big heart though and is trying to make things happen.

He was in a pot with Tommy Le and bet 17,000 on the river of a {2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Le called with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and took the pot as Boujenah could only muster {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

He's very very short again now.

Adam Junglen Eliminated by Michael Fosco

Adam Junglen has left us in 20th place just a few hands after doubling up. We didn't see the hand but the table told us that it was a cooler with {A-} {A-} {x-} {x-} v {K-} {K-} {x-} {x-} and Michael Fosco woke up with the aces. The hand held, Junglen was out and Fosco moved up to 280,000.

MacPhee Finds a Needed Double

Kevin MacPhee
Kevin MacPhee

Kevin MacPhee was one of the shortest stacks in the room, and really needed to reverse his chip trend. He managed to do that thanks to the help of Andrew Watson.

Watson raised to 10,000 and called when MacPhee three-bet to 32,500. Before the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop came down Watson asked how much his opponent had left. MacPhee counted out and answered, "Thirty-four thousand."

After the flop appeared MacPhee waited a minute before moving all in. Watson asked how much it was and that prompted MacPhee to respond with, "Thirty-four thousand. The same as when you asked just before!"

Watson called with {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a flush draw.
MacPhee was ahead with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and stayed there through the {3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} turn and river.
