Silverman Flush With Diamonds

Jan-Peter Jachtmann opened to 14,000 from under the gun, and Steven Silverman three-bet to 35,000 a few seats to his right. The action folded to John Kabbaj, who tanked for a very long time before folding, and Jachtmann called.

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The two checked again after the {6-Hearts} turned, and a third time when the {q-Spades} completed the board.

"Flush," Silverman said, tabling {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Jachtmann mucked, and Silverman raked in the pot.

Counts

Kornuth Hero-Calls for Entire Stack

Adam Kornuth called a bet from Benjamin Sage with the board reading {8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and the river brought the {2-Clubs}. Sage bet enough to put Kornuth all in, and Kornuth called.

Sage tabled {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} for air, and Kornuth's {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights was best.

Thanks to that great call, Kornuth doubled to 190,000 chips, while Sage sunk to 290,000.

Brown's "Bluff"

Alexander Kravchenko and Loren Klein checked with the board reading {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Andrew Brown fired 36,000, and only Klein called.

The {k-Clubs} completed the board, and Klein checked again. Brown bet 85,000, and Klein folded.

Brown tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, thinking he was bluffing, but Klein said it was the best hand.

"If you would've bet on the river," Brown told Klein. "I would've shoved on your ass. If you bet the river, it was going in."

Tieman Chips Up

Josh Tieman and Nenad Medic were heads up with the board reading {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Tieman fired 27,500 into a pot of 51,000, and Medic called.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and Tieman bet the pot (106,000). Medic released, and Tieman pulled in the pot.

Kushner Wins Another Monster

Joe Kushner is back among the leaders.
Joe Kushner is back among the leaders.

Joe Kushner, who won a massive five-way all in yesterday, just doubled through Matthew Kirk, and is back among the chip leaders.

There was around 30,000 in the pot when we reached Table 447, and the flop had already fallen {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Kushern and Kirk got into a raising war, and Kushner was eventually all in for 250,500.

Kushner: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Kirk: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}

Neither the turn ({q-Diamonds}) for the river ({6-Spades}) were clubs, and Kushner doubled to more than 500,000 chips.

Farha Busts Wood, Crosses 500K Mark

Cory Wood was all in and at risk for his last 100,000 with the board reading {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Sammy Farha had him at risk holding {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and Wood held {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The turn and river were both threes ({3-Hearts} and {3-Diamonds}), and Farha shipped the pot with a full house.

Matt Stout (Day 1) is eliminated.

Matt Stout, who recently finished third in Event 33: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em, called from early position, and the action folded to Matthew Kirk, who raised to 18,000. Stout potted, Kirk re-potted, and Stout called all in for around 80,000.

Stout: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Kirk: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, and Stout was eliminated.

Goodbye, Neumann

Marko Neumann, Allen Cunningham, Brandon Crawford, and Adam Kornuth took a flop of {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The action checked to Crawford, who fired 11,000, and Kornuth called. Neumann raised to 64,000, and only Crawford called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts}, and Neumann moved all in for around 40,000. Crawford called, and the hands were tabled.

Neumann{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Crawford{a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Neumann was ahead with queens and fours, but the {10-Spades} spiked on the river, giving Crawford aces and tens, and the pot.
