Chan Chasing Another Cash

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Terrence Chan
Terrence Chan

Terrence Chan — he of the whopping seven cashes already at this summer's WSOP — has been steadily chipping up all day. Just now he was involved in a hand which resulted in another addition to his stack.

After a player in the cutoff raised, Chan three-bet from the small blind, forcing a fold from his neighbor and fellow Vancouverite Dan Idema, yet another player in our field who possesses a limit hold'em bracelet (2011, $10,000 LHE).

Chan's opponent called the reraise, then called again when Chan bet the {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop. Chan bet once more following the {7-Clubs} turn. This time his opponent raised and Chan called. Both then checked the {2-Hearts} river, and when Chan tabled {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for queens, his opponent mucked.

Chan is up around 37,000 now.
