Glazier Can't Call Chaplin's River Shove

Joseph Chaplin opened to 50,000 from the cutoff position and was met with a three-bet to 110,000 by Jackie Glazier from the small blind. Chaplin made the call and it was heads up going to the flop.

Both players checked the {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{A-Clubs} flop, however Glazier would lead out for 100,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. Chaplin made the call to see the river, which brought the {6-Clubs}. Glazier fired 160,000 into the middle and Chaplin announced he was all in. Glazier folded after some thought and Chaplin scooped the pot.

Chaplin is up to 1,180,000 while Glazier slipped back to 1,210,000.

Vas Nunes Assumes Chip Lead

Greg Ostrander opened to 62,000 from middle position and action folded around to Paul Vas Nunes on the button, who re-raised to either 125,000 for 150,000 (we couldn't quite tell). Ostrander made the call to see a flop, which came {J-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Ostrander checked to Vas Nunes, who bet 175,000. Ostrander called.

The turn fell a {J-Diamonds} and both players checked, however, Ostrander fired 350,000 into the middle when the {5-Spades} completed the board and Vas Nunes made the call.

Ostrander flipped over {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for jacks and eights, while Vas Nunes tabled {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} for aces and jacks, which was good for the pot.

Vas Nunes is our current chip leader with 2.32 million.

Flop: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Vas Nunes led out for 125,000 and Chaplin made the call.

Not backing down, Vas Nunes fired again on the {5-Clubs} turn - this time for 250,000. Chaplin decided to give it up and release his hand.

Vas Nunes is now up to 2,630,000 while Chaplin has slipped to 830,000.

Glazier Grabs Some From Ronconi

Jackie Glazier opened to 50,000 from middle position and found one caller in Darryl Ronconi in the big blind.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Ronconi check-called an 80,000 bet from Glazier.

Both players then proceeded to check down the {K-Hearts} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river.

Glazier revealed {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and it was good, as Ronconi mucked his hand.

Glazier is up to just over 1.5 million, while Ronconi slipped to 810,000.

Ronconi Continues to Slide

Joseph Chaplin opened to 50,000 from early position and was called by Darryl Ronconi on the small blind and Roger Fontes in the big for a three-way pot.

The flop brought the {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and all three players checked.

Ronconi led out for 70,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn, which got a fold out of Fontes, but Chaplin came along and made the call.

The river fell the {Q-Spades} and Ronconi check-called a 170,000 bet from Chaplin. Chaplin tabled the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for a rivered pair of queens, which bested Ronconi's {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a pair of eights.

Chaplin is up to 1,130,000 while Ronconi is down to his last 520,000.

Greg Ostrander
Greg Ostrander

Greg Ostrander opened to 55,000 from the cutoff and found one caller in Jackie Glazier from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Glazier check-called a 95,000 bet from Ostrander.

A {K-Clubs} fell on the turn and Glazier check-called a 200,000 bet from Ostrander.

The {A-Spades} completed the board and Glazier checked a final time - prompting a hefty 550,000 bet from Ostrander. Glazier called after some thought and Ostander flipped over {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} for runner-runner top two-pair. Glazier couldn't beat it and mucked.

Glazier is down to 795,000 while Ostrander is our new chip leader following the hand with 3,100,000.

Vas Nunes: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Fontes: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Fontes was way ahead and the {9-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} board gave him quads for good measure and his doubled through to 473,000.
