Vonk, Kenney, Madsen and Nishijima Are Out

A spate of eliminations to report from the Bronze Section in the Brasilia Room.

World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet holder, Marcel Vonk, has been eliminated in a flip. It was {A-} {K-} versus {10-} {10-} , Vonk missed and the dealer ushered him away from the table.

Former WSOP final tablist, Tyler Kenney, has been eliminated by Roman Valerstein.

"The kid was three-betting me all day and then I found sixes," said WSOP Circuit final tablist Valerstein. He was referring to the pre-flop raising war which Kenney lost {A-} {K-} versus {6-} {6-} .

Thiago Nishijima was eliminated by Kevin Olsta in a cooler - {Q-} {Q-} versus {A-} {A-} .

Last but not least, Jeff Madsen has been eliminated. There was an open from first position and Mike Cantrell called before Madsen also called in the big blind. The flop of {Q-} {5-} {3-} (two clubs) was checked through and then we had the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Madsen jammed for a little over pot (10BB), there was a fold and Cantrell called holding a set of fives. Madsen showed down {Q-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and was dead meat.
