Who's Got Who Crushed?

No-Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Phil Hellmuth on the button and he raised to 4,000. David Grey three-bet to 13,500 from the small blind. Danny Fuhs four-bet from the big blind to 30,000.

Hellmuth tanked for a bit, stood up and gave his Hellmuth antics before folding. He showed half of the table that he laid down ace-king, while the other players were still to act. Grey tanked for just under 50,000 behind and eventually folded, giving Fuhs the pot.

Hellmuth piped up and said he would have shoved on Grey if Fuhs folded, saying that he laid down ace-king, which half the table could vouch for. Grey pointed at Fuhs and said, "I didn't have him crushed," before pointing at Hellmuth and saying, "But I had you crushed."

The table got a bit of a laugh from that comment as Fuhs raked in the pot.

Negreanu and Ivey Hurting

Stud-8

Daniel Negreanu{x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades}{K-Spades} / {x-}
Phil Ivey{x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} / {x-}

Even though both players are in dire need of a double up, Daniel Negreanu just managed to win some chips of his rival Phil Ivey. Negreanu completed the action, Ivey raised and Negreanu called.

On fourth street Negreanu called Ivey's bet. Negreanu bet on fifth street and Ivey called. On sixth street Ivey called a bet, and he folded on seventh street.

If you would ask this field; Who would you most want to see win this event besides yourself, there's a good chance many players will pick Doyle Brunson. The Godfather of Poker is still in this event on day two, and he just took down a pot in No Limit Hold'em.

No Limit Hold'em

Brunson raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and Jeff Lisandro called on the button. Hasan Habib defended his small blind, after which Andrew Brown called from the big.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} and all four players checked. The turn was the {8-Spades} and Habib lead out for 4,000. Brown quickly folded and Brunson grabbed some chips. He raised it up to 14,000 and Lisandro folded right away. Habib gave it some thought but also folded giving Brunson the pot.

Brunson cashed the first edition of this event back in 2006 when he finished in eight place cashing $274,560. His last World Series of Poker cash dates back to 2009 when he finished seventh in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud hi/lo event for $62,234.

Scooper For Greenstein

Omaha-8

Barry Greenstein raised from the button and Alexander Kravchenko three-bet from the small blind. Greenstein called, and the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Kravchenko bet and Greenstein called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Kravchenko bet again. This time Greenstein raised it up and Kravchenko called. The river was the {10-Spades} and both players checked.

Greenstein turned over {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and took down the pot. There was no low possible and Greenstein's pair of queens were enough to win.
