Big Stacks Collide

Jeff Shulman opened the action with a late position raise. Chad Brown peered down at his cards on the button and tossed out a three-bet. John Virtue four-bet from the big blind and action was back to Shulman.

Shulman threw away his hand with a sour look on his face and Brown called. The two heads up players saw a {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} flop fall. Virtue continued out only to find a raise from Brown. Virtue called and the turn was the {3-Diamonds}.

Virtue opted to check-call a bet from Brown on this street and the {2-Spades} completed the board. Both players checked and Virtue flipped up {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} for top pair and top kicker. Brown threw his cards and the muck and Virtue was able to grab the pot from our chip leader.
