Day 2 Begins With 126 in the Hunt

Sam Barnhart Leads the Way
Sam Barnhart Leads the Way

Yesterday 247 entrants ponied up $3,000 with the hopes of becoming the next World Series of Poker Limit Hold'em champion. Today 126 of those players are returning to continue to fight for that dream. WSOP Circuit phenom Sam Barnhart is coming into the day as the chip leader with 58,900. Barnhart has had much success on the WSOP Circuit as well as earning a deep run in the 2011 WSOP Main Event with a 17th place finish. That elusive WSOP gold bracelet, however, is still yet to be around his wrist.

Yesterday's play saw a slew of notable names enter only to be eliminated by the end of the day. Among those to hit the rail yesterday were Ali Eslami, Shaun Deeb, Phil Ivey, Chris Tryba, Matt Matros, Isaac Haxton, John Racener, and more.

However, while some fell, others thrived. Some other notable stacks returning to play today are Chad Brown (41,400), Ray Henson (39,400), Maria Ho (31,500), Jimmy Fricke (30,600), Justin Bonomo (28,900), Jonathan Duhamel (25,700), Humberto Brenes (16,100), and many more.

Cards are about to be in the air here in the Tan section of the Amazon room. Follow along as we present you with all of the latest updates!
