Berkey Binks Full House

We caught up with Matt Berkey going heads up with an opponent to the flop. The dealer showed the two a flop of {2-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Berkey checked from the big blind. His opponent bet 7,500 from the button and Berkey shuffled chips for about thirty seconds before moving a large stack of yellow t1,000 chips into the middle for a raise.

His opponent announced all in and Berkey quickly called showing {A-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair. His opponent meekly tabled {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and was looking for a three to fulfill his straight. The turn, however, was the {A-Diamonds} giving Berkey a full house and the winning hand. The river was in fact the {3-Spades} but it was no use against Berkey's full house.

Berkey is now among the chip leaders with 232,000 in chips.
