Henderson Moves In

With the flop reading {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} Hugh Henderson checked to Neil Willerson who bet 200,000. Henderson called and the turn was the {A-Spades}. Henderson checked once again and 450,000 was the bet from Willerson. Henderson slowly counted out enough chips and pushed in the call.

The river was the {8-Spades} and this time there was no checking from Henderson. He announced all in and Willerson hung his head and mucked his hand.

Willerson Backs Down to Mefodichev's Pressure

Vladimir Mefodichev opened to 125,000 from under-the-gun and directly behind him on the button, Neil Willerson three-bet to 325,000. Action folded back around to Mefodichev, who thought for a bit before cutting out a four-bet to 775,000 and pushing it into the middle. Willerson rapped the table and mucked.

Mefodichev is far and away our chip leader with 7.8 million.

Matthew Graham Eliminated in 5th Place ($171,135)

Matthew Graham - 5th Place
Matthew Graham - 5th Place

Matthew Graham opened the betting with a raise to 150,000 from the cutoff. It folded to Vladimir Mefodichev's small blind and he moved out a three-bet to 375,000. Graham called and the two were off to see a flop.

A rather monotone flop hit the felt - {3-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}. Mefodichev continued out with 300,000 and it only took a brief moment for Graham to announce all in. Mefodichev did not hesitate in announcing a call, tabling {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flopped flush. Graham hung his head and showed {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and was in dire need of help.

The {J-Hearts} on the turn left Graham drawing dead and the dealer completed the board with the {10-Diamonds}. Graham will take home $171,135 for his efforts.

Willerson Doubles Through Henderson

Neil Willerson opened to 125,000 from the hijack seat and found one caller in Hugh Henderson from the small blind for a heads-up pot.

The flop came {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Spades} and Henderson checked to Willerson, who fired 375,000 into the middle. Henderson then check-raised all in and Willerson called all in for less to put himself at risk.

Willerson: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Henderson: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Henderson had Willerson in bad shape with his set. The {7-Clubs} changed nothing, however, an {A-Hearts} landed on the river - giving Willerson a superior set for the double up.

Willerson is back up to 3.3 million, while Henderson slipped to 1.7 million.

Willerson Wilting

Vladimir Mefodichev, Hugh Henderson, and Neil Willerson saw a flop of {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Spades} in a raised pot. Henderson and Mefodichev checked and Willerson moved 325,000 into the center of the table. Henderson called and their Russian friend got out of the way.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and Henderson sat still for a moment before dipping into his stack. When he came out a 600,000 bet was present in the middle. Willerson shook his head and tossed away his hand, awarding Henderson the pot.

Mefodichev Scoops a Big One

Vladimir Mefodichev opened to 125,000 from under-the-gun and directly behind him, Neil Willerson three-bet to 255,000. Everyone else folded it back to Mefodichev, who made the call.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Mefodichev check-called a 350,000 c-bet from Willerson.

Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} turn, however, when the {4-Clubs} completed the board, Mefodichev checked again - prompting a 450,000 bet from Willerson. Mefodichev thought it over and then check-raised to 1.5 million total. Willerson reluctantly announced, "Call," and Mefodichev tabled {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a flopped set. Willerson dejectedly showed pocket queens and mucked.

Hai Chu Eliminated in 6th Place ($126,770)

Hai Chu - 6th Place
Hai Chu - 6th Place

Hai Chu open-shoved all in for his laugh 575,000 from early position and it folded around to Vladimir Mefodichev on the button who moved all in over the top. Everyone else folded and the hands were tabled to find Chu crushed.

Chu: {K-Spades}{8-Spades}
Mefodichev: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Mefodichev ensured his lead with the flop of {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Chu found a glint of hope when the {8-Diamonds} turned but it was for naught as the board completed with the {Q-Hearts}. Chu will take home $126,770 for his sixth place finish.

"On to the next one!" Chu said with a smile as he left the tournament area.
