We didn't catch the action, but we heard a few shouts of excitement from Donald Vogel's rail, so we went over to investigate. Here's what we saw. The board read . Vogel held for a straight, while his opponent had tabled for two pair. Vogel collected the monster pot, and he is now up to 750,000.
We have just lost another player, and we are down to our final 36 players. Once we lose one more table, the 27 remaining players will redraw for new seats. When that happens, we will get the names and counts of everyone left in the tournament.
We went over to Peter Eastgate's table, and saw that one player at the table was gathering his things and headed to the rail. We didn't catch the board, but we did see that the chips were being moved to 2008 Main Event Champ Peter Eastgate. After he stacked it all up, we counted 550,000 in his stack, good enough for second in chips right now.
We caught up with the action on a board reading , where Will Failla was in a heads-up pot. Failla's opponent checked from under-the-gun and Failla fired 25,000 into the middle from the cutoff position. His opponent called and the completed the board.
Failla's opponent again checked and Failla bet again - this time for 65,000. His opponent slid his hand into the muck after some thought and Failla said, "I got it - you know I always got it, right?"
Donald Vogel started the day as our chip leader, and after a few levels of staying in neutral, he shot back to the top of our leaderboard. However, he has just taken a hit that has cut out a third of his stack. We caught the action on a flop that read . Vogel and his opponent got into a raising war that saw Vogel's opponent get his 200,000 into the middle. The cards were flipped, and it was obvious why the players got the money in.

Vogel held an overpair, but had to fade the straight and flush draws of his opponent. He did that on the turn, the , but the river brought the , giving his opponent a winning straight.
Vogel is still plenty healthy with 425,000, but he would have retaken the chip lead had he won the hand.
Kelly Jensen was the last remaining female in this event, and she has just been eliminated. We caught up with the action on a flop that read . There was a bet of 70,000 in front of Andrew Taylor, but he was the one making a decision, as Jensen had already moved all in for 108,000 on top. Taylor said, "well I was making a move, but I think I have to call", and slid the chips in.

Taylor:
Jensen was well out in front, but the dealer quickly ended things on the turn, bringing the . This gave Taylor his straight, and left Jensen drawing a dead. The river was the , and a shocked Jensen headed to the rail.
After that pot, Taylor is one of our chip leaders, sitting with 450,000.
