Hachem Pushes

With the flop reading {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{A-Spades} there were two checks to Tony Hachem. Hachem bet out 3,700 and his opponent raised to 8,000. The third player got out of the way and Hachem wasted no time plopping down a stack of orange t5,000 chips in the middle to put his opponent all in. Hachem's opponent folded and Hachem showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} to the table.

Hachem is currently sitting on a stack of roughly 86,000.

Levi Snaps, Levi Binks

When we arrived at Table 12, Nicolas Levi was all in and at risk against two players moments ago, and the cards looked like this:

Levi{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent 1{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Opponent 2{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {q-Spades} appeared in the window of the flop, and upon seeing it, Opponent 1 announced, "There she is!"

Unfortunately for him, the {j-Spades} followed, and fortunately for Levi, the {5-Spades} was the third card. The dealer rapped the table, and just as he delivered the turn card, Levi snapped his fingers. The turn was the {4-Spades}, giving him an ace-high flush.

Levi wasn't safe yet however - if the board paired, Opponent 2 would win the pot. The {10-Hearts} was a brick however, and Levi nearly tripled back to starting stack.

"Overkill!"

That's what Jason Mercier just said after he knocked out his buddy Matt Waxman.

Mercier told us how Matt Marafioti raised to 1,500, and Waxman moved all in for 12,300.

"I called. Smooth," Mercier said with a smile. Marafioti folded and Waxman had a pair of fours against Mercier's {A-}{q-}.

"The flop was seven-eight-nine and the turn.......a queen! And another queen on the river. Overkill!" Mercier laughed. Mercier is doing very in this event, and he's among the biggest stacks in the room.

"IS THAT REAL???"

Giuseppe Pantaleo (Event 38) absolutely snapped.
Giuseppe Pantaleo (Event 38) absolutely snapped.

Moments ago, after taking a bad beat, Giuseppe Pantaleo snapped. He lost it.

We couldn't decipher most of what he was saying - it was in German - but he was screaming at both Ismail Erkenov (who just eliminated him) and the dealer.

"IS THAT REAL?!?!?!" he finally screamed in English.

Pantaleo stormed away from the table, smacked a nearby chip cart, and exited the Brasilia Room. When we reached the table, we saw that the board was {9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}, and Pantaleo had {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Erkenov had {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for trip threes however, and according to a player at the table, Pantaleo was all in preflop for 43,100.

We're not sure what happened to Pantaleo, but the tournament staff wasn't very happy about his behavior.

Kings For Kling

Action folded around to the button and the player raised to 1,275. Lauren Kling three-bet to 4,200 from the big blind and her opponent called.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Kling continued out for 4,700. Her opponent called and fourth street brought the {7-Diamonds}. Kling continued with her aggression by pushing 10,200 into the middle.

Kling's opponent sat for over a minute before deciding to call. The {4-Hearts} came on the river and Kling slowed down with a check. Her opponent took about ninety seconds before moving 23,250 into the middle. Kling snap-called and showed {K-Spades}{k-Hearts} to take down the pot. She's now sitting on about 117,000.
