David Boyaciyan
David Boyaciyan

David Boyaciyan raised to 16,000 and Kyle Julius reraised to 43,000. Action got back to Boyaciyan and he moved all in for right around 200,000. Julius quickly called.

Big Pot Alert; Brammer Knocks out Stocker and Stammen

Christopher Brammer is our new chip leader
Christopher Brammer is our new chip leader

A massive pot just played out on Table 436 when Christopher Brammer busted both Keven Stammen en Thijmen Stocker. Brammer was stacking his new chips when we arrived, and Stocker told us what happened.

Brammer raised from the hijack and Stocker called in the cutoff. Keven Stammen was in the small blind, and he moved all in for right around 130,000. Brammer opted to re-shove for 500,000 and that put Stocker to the test. He called off for a total of 380,000 and these hands were shown.

Keven Stammen: {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Christopher Brammer: {A-}{K-}
Thijmen Stocker: {A-}{Q-}

The board gave Brammer two pair, and he is now the chip leader with just under a million in chips.

Elias Does it Preflop

Darren Elias always flies a bit under the radar, but he may never be underestimated. Elias has had a lot of succes in the recent years, and in this event he's looking to make another very deep run.

Ty Reiman just raised under the gun to 25,000 after which Gregory Mason three-bet to 45,000. The action was folded to Elias who tanked for about a minute before four-betting to 102,000. Both Reiman and Merson folded giving Elias the pot.

On the next hand Eugene Katchalov raised and Elias put him all in. Katchalov folded and Elias took down another pot.

Flack Sends Rettenmaier Home

Marvin Rettenmaier moved all in from the cutoff seat for 97,000 and Layne Flack called on the button. Everyone else folded and all Rettenmaier had to do was have his {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} come from behind against Flack's {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to stay alive.

A flop, turn and river of {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} gave Flack the win and sent Rettenmaier to the rail. Flack moved to 370,000 in chips.

Flack Tanks for Five Minutes With Jack-High

When we reached the table, the board was already completed {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Layne Flack checked, and Jason Mercier moved all in for 117,000, which was about a pot-sized bet. Flack went into the tank, cutting out enough chips to call, and riffling them with his hand. He then took the entire stack and held it in the air, pump-faking it back and forth.

"I can't beat ace-high," he announced. "That's what's so f***ing sick about this."

Flack tanked for a little longer, then folded {j-Spades}{6-Spades} face up. Mercier silently mucked his cards, and raked in the pot.

More Pressure, More Chips

Christopher Brammer is sky-rocketing the field with a massive 1.5 million stack. He just took some off Josh Brikis who's getting quite short.

Brikis raised to 25,00 and the action was folded to Brammer in the big blind. He took a look at Brikis' stack and called.

The flop came down {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Brammer checked. Brikis bet 28,000 and Brammer raised to 80,000. Brikis double-checked his cards and folded.
