Henson Had an Appointment With Dr. Kamikaze

Ray Henson
Ray Henson

Ray Henson got his stack all in preflop and was at risk against Kami "Dr. Kamikaze" Chisholm.

Showdown
Chisholm: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Henson: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop gave both players aces and sixes, but Chisholm's kicker had her out in front. With that said, Henson could still catch a low card to secure half the pot. The {9-Spades} turn wasn't what he was looking for, and neither was the {K-Hearts} river.

Chisholm made aces and kings to take down the pot, chipping up to 193,000 in the process, while Henson hit the rail.

Mcgowan Another One Home

Hamilton Mcgowan is the latest player to be eliminated in the money, with Dexter Mcnally the player to deal the fatal blow. Mcgowan's last hand saw him holding {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} against Mcnally's {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. By the time we were at the table, there was a board showing {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and this is when Mcgowan was all in. At this point Mcnally held the flush and the meaningless brick on the river changed nothing as Mcgowan was eliminated in 44th place.

Cousineau Gives Some to Bowker Before Eliminating Moed

We didn't catch the action, but we did see Kyle Bowker, who held {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} on a {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} board, being shipped a hefty pot courtesy of Roch Cousineau, who was knocked down to 65,000.

No sooner did we turn our back then Cousineau was involved in another pot, this time against Michael Moed. It appeared the latter got his short stack all in preflop with {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, but was eliminated when Cousineau made two pair, aces and nines, with no qualifying low on the board.
