Gylbert Drolet Eliminated in 17th Place ($25,780)

Gylbert Drolet - 17th place
Gylbert Drolet - 17th place

Alex Cordero opened with a raise to 51,000 from early position, then Gylbert Drolet reraised all in for 157,000 total from a seat over. That's when Hieu Nguyen reraised again over the top for 300,000. It folded back around, Cordero stepped aside, and the remaining players tabled their cards.

Drolet: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Nguyen: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

Drolet didn't want to see clubs, but the flop came {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{J-Clubs} to put him at risk. The turn was the {10-Spades} and Drolet was still safe, but the {2-Clubs} fell on the river to give Nguyen the flush and send Drolet out in 17th.

Wayne Brown Eliminated in 18th Place ($25,780)

Wayne Brown - 18th place
Wayne Brown - 18th place

Joshua Prager opened to 60,000 from early position and action folded around to Wayne Brown in the big blind, who pushed all in for his remaining stack. Prager made the call and hands were revealed.

Prager: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Brown: {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} board looked good for Brown, however, a {3-Spades} completed the board - giving Prager a set of treys on the end for the knockout.

Brown will take home $25,780 for his efforts today.

[Removed:550] Out, 18 Left

[Removed:532] open-pushed his stack of about 400,000 from the button and got one caller in Daniel Eichhorn in the small blind. [Removed:550] had {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Eichhorn {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, and after the five community cards came {6-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, [Removed:550] was out in 19th.

The remaining 18 players are now being seated around the final two tables.

Hart Gets Crippled, Doubles, Then Eliminated

Daniel Thomas shoved all in from the small blind for his last 294,000 from the small blind and was called by Christopher Hart in the big blind to put Thomas at risk.

Thomas: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Hart: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Hart was in bad shape and the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Spades} board left Thomas in front for the double up.

Down to his last 38,000, Hart pushed all in from the button and was called by Alex Cordero in the big blind. This time Hart had the pocket kings and he doubled through against Cordero's {9-}{3-} to double up.

However, in what would be his last hand shortly thereafter, Hart pushed all in for 82,000 and was called by Dominik Nitsche in the big blind to put him at risk.

Nitsche: {7-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Hart: {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} board left Nitsche best and Hart was sent to the rail.

Olsen, Bonita Out

Harald Olsen
Harald Olsen

A couple more eliminations to report here at the start of Level 23. Harald Olsen has been eliminated in 22nd, and was followed to the rail shortly thereafter by Christopher Bonita in 21st.

Olsen's last hand saw him all in before the flop with {A-}{K-} versus an opponent's {A-}{10-}. All was good for Olsen after the {J-}{9-}{3-} flop, but tens on both the turn and river spelled the end of Olsen's Event 59 run.

Meanwhile in Bonita's final hand, he'd committed the last of his 160,000 or so with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and was hoping to catch against Wayne Brown's {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. But the board came {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and Bonita is out.

Just 20 players are left.

Big Call By Nitsche Ends Suaya's Run

With only about 75,000 in the middle and the board showing {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Fernando Suaya made a big all-in shove for more than 400,000, putting Dominik Nitsche to a tough decision. Nitsche had Suaya covered, though not by a lot, and after tanking for some time Nitsche emerged to make the call.

Nitsche showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for aces while Suaya turned over {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a flush draw plus a gutshot. The river brought the {7-Spades}, and Suaya is out.

Levesque Eliminated

Eric Levesque
Eric Levesque

Eric Levesque was just all in with {J-Spades}{8-Clubs} against Daniel Eichhorn's {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The board rolled out {6-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{A-Clubs}, and Levesque hits the rail.

Tropea; Plaseski Eliminated

Todor Plaseki's elimination occurred after getting all in with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} against Sebastien Comel's {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. The {J-Hearts}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board left Comel, who had Plaseki covered, with a set of jacks for the knockout.

Andrea Tropea met his end after pushing all in preflop for his remaining stack with {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. He was called by Jonathan Miller's {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the {8-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} board kept Tropea behind and he was sent to the rail.
