Fuller Eliminates Yagci

Ismail Yagci was just now all in with {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} against Thomas "GnightMoon" Fuller's {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}, and when the community cards came {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, Fuller's king kicker knocked Yagci out in 36th place.

Miller Doubles Through Dimaria

Gaetano Dimaria opened to 24,000 from early position and action folded around to Jonathan Miller in the small blind, who announced he was all in for his last 134,000. It was folded back to Dimaria, who made the call to put Miller at risk.

Miller: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Dimaria: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} board kept Miller in front and he doubled through to 280,000. Dimaria, on the other hand, is down to his last 130,000.

Plaseski Cracks Monahan's Kings

Rory Monahan was all in with {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} against Todor Plaseski's {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, appearing in decent shape to score a double up. But the flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts} to give Plaseski the set, and after the {3-Spades} turn and {10-Spades} river, Monahan hit the rail.

Suaya Takes Out Bedi

We caught up with the action just as Rupinder Bedi was getting all in for his last 100,000 against Fernando Suaya.

Suaya: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Bedi: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Suaya had Bedi dominated and the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board kept Suaya in the lead - eliminating Bedi from the tournament.

Suaya is up to 700,000.

Saechao Out

Chiab "Chip" Saechao's Event 59 run has ended. Holding {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and flopping two pair against Daniel Thomas when the board came {10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Saechao would get the last of his stack in following the {10-Hearts} turn. Alas for Saechao, Thomas had {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} and thus Saechao was counterfeited. The river was the {8-Spades}, and Saechao is out.

Gruszka Out, Forty Remain

Daniel Gruszka has hit the rail, joining a rapidly-moving parade to the cashier's desk that has included Bao Dao, Steven Firestone, and Dimitri Holdeew.

In Gruszka's last hand, he pushed the last of his stack in the middle on the turn holding {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} with the board showing {10-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Unfortunately for Gruszka, he was up against the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} of [Removed:532], meaning he was already drawing dead.

Forty players remain.

Chips Moving, Chairs Emptying

A couple more bustouts to report here in Level 19. Benjamin Shove recently left us in 48th place, followed shortly thereafter by Matthew Mazzeo in 47th. In Mazzeo's final hand he took his chances with {K-}{K-} against Sebastien Comel's {A-}{5-}, and an ace came to end Mazzeo's run.

Meanwhile, both Wayne Brown and James Taylor have gotten off to good starts this afternoon. Both were sitting on extreme short stacks late in Day 2 before hitting some hands to survive. Now Brown has doubled up early today to push over 300,000 while Taylor has scored a few more chips off of Dominik Nitsche to push up even further in the counts.

Tropea Ousts Padgett

With the board showing {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{A-Hearts}, Colin Padgett got the rest of his short stack in versus Andrea Tropea. Padgett had the edge with {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} (two pair) versus Tropea's {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} (aces), but the {9-Clubs} fell on the turn to pair the board and swing the advantage back to Tropea. The river was the {6-Spades}, and Padgett is out.
