Following his usual modus operandi, 12-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth has arrived here at the start of Level 5. He's currently occupying seat 10 at a table adjacent to Erik Seidel, where the eight-time bracelet winner is also in seat 10.
Justin Schwartz has been eliminated from Table Twenty-One and now residing in his former seat is Cary Katz. As incredulous as it seems, only days ago Katz was paying $1 million to take his seat in Event #55: $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop and today he is paying $1,000. I guess that tells you a lot about the CEO of College Loan Corporation, the man has a lot of money and he loves his poker. Katz is currently sat on 3,400.
Mario Puccini has also been eliminated from the Silver Section and JJ Liu is another player who just put it all on the line in the strangest of pots. Liu raised to 300 in the cutoff (off a stack of 1,800) and the small blind called. The flop was and the small blind check-raised to 950 once Liu had made a standard c-bet. Liu moved all-in for 1,500 total and her opponent refused to put the additional 550 in the pot and folded his hand.
You may have heard about Alpha Brain, or seen the Onnit booth at the WSOP. Well, Alpha Brain is designed to improve focus, and competitive thinking; a perfect combination for poker.
Sorel Mizzi, who's part of the Onnit Honor Roll is a firm believer, and said "within days of taking Alpha Brain® I felt a noticeable improvement in my conversational flow, focus at the table and my ability to remember dreams. I was sold!"
We never got to see the big plastic rat of Lucien Cohen because he is out. We believe that he got his last few pennies worth in holding and lost a race versus when his opponent turned a set.
Of the newer faces to prop their behinds into golden chairs we have 2 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winners: one short and one tall. First the smaller of the two, Ken Aldridge, who is seated at Table 8. Aldridge, who is dressed in his customary yellow clothing, has his bracelet slung proudly over his wrist, a bracelet he won in 2009 when he defeated the likes of Praz Bansi and Bryn Kenney to take down a $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event - and with it - $428,259 in prize money.
The taller WSOP bracelet holder is none other than Huck Seed. Seed is a WSOP legend with 4 WSOP bracelets (including a main event title) and $2,918,535 in WSOP career earnings. Seed is currently residing in the ten seat at Table Eleven.
