David "Bakes" Baker didn't make it to the dinner break as he busted in the last hand before. We asked Joe Poole what happened and he told us the following. Todd Brunson was knocked far down but just regained some ground as he managed to tripple up his stack. Brunson raised to 6,000 and two players called, one of those being Phil Hellmuth who was in the big blind.

Both players checked and the river, the , was checked as well. "Nines up," Hellmuth announced as he turned over his . Brunson showed for a straight and he took the pot down to stay alive. Brunson is still short but has another shot at it.
Shaun Deeb has seen his stack chopped in half this level, and he's not looking happy about it.
His latest loss came when he was in the big blind and defended a hijack raise. Then he check-called bets on the flop, and the turn, before he check-folded the river.
The upcoming dinner break will come at a good time for him.
The Daniel Negreanu table is certainly one of, if not, the most difficult table left in the field. The Team PokerStars Pro has a bad seat too as he's out of position to Gavin Griffin and Shaun Deeb. This didn't hinder him as he took a pot off Griffin in a battle of the blinds.
Negreanu opened and called a Griffin raise en route to an flop. He check-called 3,000 before both players checked the turn.
