Lowery First Elimination

Daniel Lowery has been eliminated and his tablemates were nice enough to fill us in on the action.

Frank Kassela opened and and Lowery called on the button. The flop came {Q-} {10-} {3-}, Kassela bet 725 and Lowery raised to 1,800. Kassela called and the turn came {K-}. Kassela checked, Lowery bet 3,000 and Kassela raised enough to put Lowery all in.

Lowery had a little under 12,000 behind and he called.

Lowery: {K-} {Q-}
Kassela: {Q-} {9-}

The river came a {J-} and Kassela rivered a straight sending Lowery to the rail.

Moorman Cruising

One player has seperated himself from the pack just before our first break here, and that player is Chris Moorman. The latest pot to add to his stack occurred in a heads up hand with Matt Chang. The flop read {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} when we arrived, and Moorman bet out 600. Chang tossed in the call, and the {7-Diamonds} hit the turn. Both players checked, and the {8-Diamonds} hit the river, completing a scary looking board.

Moorman fired out 2,150, and after about 30 seconds of thought, Chang tossed in the call. Moorman tabled {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a straight, and Chang mucked his hand. After that pot, Moorman is all the way up to 58,000, while Chang drops to 27,500.

Another Boat Over Boat

Daniel Lowery and John Dolan went a flop of {10-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. Lowery checked, Dolan bet and Lowery raised to 3,575. Dolan called and the turn came {A-Hearts}. Lowery check-called 3,650 and the river came {6-Spades}.

Lowery checked, Dolan bet 10,800 and Lowery called. Lowery tabled pocket eights for a flopped full house and Dolan showed him bad news when he tabled {A-Spades} {10-Spades} for a larger full house.

Stazsko Surprises Clinkscales

A large pot of about 4,500 on the turn caught our attention. Rex Clinkscales and Martin Stazsko were heads up, with Stazsko in position, and the board showed {7-Hearts} {5-Spades} {10-Clubs} {A-Clubs} {7-Clubs}.

Clinkscales bet 2,825 on the river and Stazsko raised to 6,500. Clinkscales thought for a minute and then tossed in a call. Clinkscales tabled pocket fives for a full house and Stazsko tabled {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} for a larger full house.
