Fives Saves Lives

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

All in preflop Chris Moorman had {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and his opponent had {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The flip was on until they saw the flop. {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and just like that Moorman took a commanding lead with a set of fives. The turn came the {9-Diamonds} and the river the {8-Spades}.

Moorman doubled up to an above average stack with 235,000.

Pearce Doubles Through Cid

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We only got to the table as the cards were being tabled, but we saw that Gary Pearce had gotten the rest of his stack in the middle holding {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. He was up against the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} of Marcio Cid, and the board ran down {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Pearce doubled through to 79,000, while Cid, who started the day as one of our big stacks, is still doing well for himself with 200,000.

Sabat Scores the Double

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Tuan Le raised it up to 4,500 from the cutoff, and Eddie Sabat shipped it from the small blind for his last 57,200. It got back around to Le, and he made the call.

Le: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Sabat: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Sabat was in great shape, and that lead grew exponetially when the flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} giving him middle set. Le would need runner runner but the {j-Spades} on the turn ended it. The meaningless river was the {9-Diamonds}, and after that pot, Sabat is up to 117,000, while Le dropped to 65,000.

Rheem Among the Leaders

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

We came up to the table as Chino Rheem's opponent had re-raised Rheem's original raise from under the gun. Rheem decided to re-raise again and he made it 23,000 to go. His opponent called and they saw a flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

Rheem bet out 18,000 and his opponent called. Next came the {6-Spades} and Rheem fired out 42,000. His opponent was not ready to fold and made the call. The river came down the {4-Hearts} and Rheem pushed all in. His opponent took some time but begrudgingly folded.

Rheem did not show and he is up to 315,000.
