The player under-the-gun opened to 325, and two positions down Jason mercier made it 850 to go. The hijack cold-fourbet and threw in 3,000 with 1,075 behind. Everyone folded to Jason Mercier who announced that he was allin. The call followed immediately and we had a showdown. Mercier's was in a race against the hijacks . Tony Dunst holding put another player all in when he hit a boat on a flop. The player holding was not happy to see his flush draw was no good. The turn and river did not change things and Dunst added to his stack.

We arrived at the flop as Annette Obrestad bet out 800 on from the big blind. Het opponent, in the cutoff position, decided he wanted to go with his hand, and pushed his 3,975 into the middle. Just as quick, Obrestad made the call and the cards were tabled.

The on the turn gave the cutoff four more outs and he sealed the deal with the on the river. Obrestad has to continue her tournament with (a still above average stack off) around 10,000.

Kathy Liebert raised to 600 from middle position. It folded to the small blind who called but not before saying: "I just want to play with you". The big blind wanted to play too and there were three to a flop of . Both blinds checked to Liebert who continued for 600, the small blind called and the big blind folded.
Both players checked the turn and the small blind led for 1,000 on the river. Liebert folded and her opponent not only played but won the pot.

Pim de Goede just opened the hijack to 300 and got a call from the cutoff. De Goede check-called a 500 bet by his opponent on . The on the turn made both players check and the hit the river. De Goede checked, and called a 800 bet after some thinking. He had to muck as his opponent showed for a rivered top pair.
Pim de Goede, a Dutch player living in Malta, is still going strong though with 13,000 in chips.

We came in as Nam Le shoved all in for his final 875 from middle position with . He found one caller from the player under the gun who had . The flop gave Le some additional outs and the turn gave him the lead with a pair. His pair tens held up through the river and Le gained some much needed chips.

On a flop David Pham had checked from the big blind. The initial-raiser, seated under-the-gun plus one, bet out 550. "The Dragon" made it 2,175 to go and snap called when the initial-raiser went allin. Pham showed for two over cards, a gutshot and a flushdraw. His four wasn't live though, as the under-the-gun plus one player showed . The on the turn didn't help Pham at all, but the on the river did.
