Harder and Rast Out

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Christian Harder three bet to 1,600 from the small blind after a 425 open from the cutoff. That same player in the cutoff four bet allin for a little more and Harder made the call. Harder had the better hand with {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} since he was up against {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The cutoff hit his nine thought and that was the end of it for Harder: {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} | {5-Diamonds} | {K-Hearts}.

When we walked back to the media desk we also saw Brian Rast depart. He's out as well, though we don't know the details of his exit.

Paasch Eliminates Schwartz

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

The hand was in progress with a flop of {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Christopher Paasch checked from the hijack which gave Justin Schwartz and invitation to bet 500. Paasch called the bet and {q-Hearts} was dealt.

Again, Paasch checked and this time Schwartz bet 900. Paasch announced "pot" and as the dealer began to count, Schwartz said "nevermind" and went all in. Paasch called.

Paasch: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Schwartz: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Both players hit the queen to make a pair but Schwartz was outkicked and the river {6-Hearts} didn't change things, eliminating Schwartz.

Weisner Busts Bojang

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Melanie Weisner raised it up to 500 from early position and saw Ismael Bojang three bet to 1,250 from the small blind. When the big blind folded to her, she put her German opponent allin but placing a stack of yellow 1,000 chips in the middle of the table. Bojang spa called quickly but his {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} was in trouble against Weisner's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The board didn't help out Bojang: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs} | {4-Clubs} | {3-Hearts}. Weisner now plays about 20,000 in chips.
