Liberta Takes Some From Roy

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Joseph Liberta raised to 2,500 from early position and action folded all of the way around to Jonathan Roy in the big blind. Roy flat called and the two saw a flop of {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Roy came out swinging with 2,800 and Liberta announced a call.

Fourth street was the {10-Spades} and Roy fired 5,800 into the middle. Liberta called once more and the {A-Clubs} hit the river. Roy tanked for quite some time before deciding to check. Liberta quickly checked right back and rolled over {A-Spades}{6-Spades}. Roy mucked his cards and Liberta took down the pot. He's now sitting on about 55,000.

Landier the Bubble - De Goede a Big Stack

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Pim de Goede is playing a 130,000 stack and told us how he just let the bubble burst. De Goede opened with {J-}{10-} suited under-the-gun and got a three bet from Michael Landier who started out with a 40 big blind stack. De Goede made the call out of position and both players checked on {A-}{6-}{2-} with De Goede his flushdraw. The turn brought out a {3-} which completed De Goede's flush. The Dutchman bet out 8,700 and got a call. The river was a {Q-} and De Goede shoved. His opponent made the call with {A-}{Q-} for rivered top two but that hand could be thrown in the muck as De Goede showed his flush. Just like that all the players snuck into the money.

Weisner Busts Two Off the Money

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Melanie Weisner
Melanie Weisner

We arrived on the flop as we saw a bet in front of Weisner who was seated in the big blind. On the table we saw {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and her opponent, Yorane Kerignard on the button, had raised. Weisner thought for some time before announcing allin. Kerignard snap called and turned over his {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. Weisner sighed and tabled {Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and had to improve to not bubble this event. She didn't succeed with the {3-Spades} on the turn and {5-Spades} on the river.

It turned out Weisner had 41,000 while Kerignard had slightly more with 42,600. Melanie Weisner busted one off the money on 56th place.

Crain Fires

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Joseph Liberta opened the action with a raise to an unknown amount from the hijack. Eric Crain cut out a three-bet to 7,000 from the big blind and Liberta called.

The dealer put out a flop that read {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Crain checked. Liberta checked it back and the board paired with the {8-Clubs} on the turn. Crain led for 8,000 and Liberta went into the tank for about thirty seconds before letting go of his cards. Crain took down the pot and now has about 84,000.
