The player in the cutoff opened to 3,600 and Matt Stout repotted from the small blind to 12,400. The player in the big blind thought for a couple of minutes and looked in pain with his decision. Jason Mercier was multi tabling yesterday and had to sprint from room to room. Today he's back at it with stacks in the $5,000 Stud-8 tournament and a solid amount of chips in this $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em event. Lukely for Mercier today both events are in the Amazon Room which makes it that much easier to run from hand to hand. Since there's still many players left in the Stud event it might be smart for him to concentrate on this one. We have only 43 players left and he has an above average stack.
| on the table and Robert Corcione, who started the day as the chip leader, checked from the blinds. Nicholas Mitchell bet out 9,300 and saw his opponent raise to 20,000 total. Galasso:
Chattha:
Chattha flopped two pair on the flop but Galasso had found additional outs to make either a flush or a straight. The on the turn did not do it and the on the river sealed his fate. Chattha was able to scoop up the pot and now sits on about 110,000 in chips.
On a flop we saw Jason Mercier bet out 2,200. His sole opponent on the button made it 8,000 and called when Mercier potted him allin for a little more.
