Benger Booms a Double

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Griffin Benger opened for a raise in middle position, James Copher called in the hijack, and Sam Stein three-bet to 16,700 in the cutoff. Benger moved all in for 84,100, Copher folded, and Stein sigh-called.

Benger: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Stein: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

It was Benger who sighed when the flop fell {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and he was standing and ready to leave when the {8-Spades} turned. Benger was saved when the {k-Diamonds} spiked on the river however, and gave a hearty fist pump at the site of the man with the ax.

The Canadian doubled to 170,000 chips, while Stein slipped to 48,000.
