Benger Busts Three in Three Hands

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

After eliminating Andreas Hoivold, Griffin Benger claimed two more victims in the following two hands.

With the board reading {J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}, Andy Seth got his stack of about 60,000 into the middle with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Benger was ahead with {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and held up through the {10-Diamonds} river to eliminate Seth.

The following hand, Ryan Schmidt shoved from the hijack for 15,500 and Benger called in the cutoff with {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. A chopped pot was likely as Schmidt tabled {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, but the board ran out {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, giving Benger a pair of threes on the river to score yet another elimination.
