Rhys Jones Eliminated in 16th Place ($19,475)

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Rhys Jones - 16th Place
Rhys Jones - 16th Place

Picking up with the action on the flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Martin Finger led out with a bet of 15,000. Rhys Jones replied by shipping his short stack all in over the top. Finger snapped him off and rolled over {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for top pair. A dejected Jones showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for top pair with a lower kicker and needed help on one of the next two streets.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and the river the {3-Diamonds}, meaning that Jones was unable to improve and eliminated in 16th place. Jones will collect $19,475 for his efforts.

Finger scooped up the pot and is now sitting pretty with about 540,000 in chips.

Fabrizio Gonzalez Eliminated in 17th Place ($19,475)

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez has been eliminated after Dan Kelly hit back-to-back flushes against him.

The first saw Gonzalez open to 13,000 under the gun, Kelly call next to act and Matt Berkey call in the big blind. The flop came down {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and all three players checked. Berkey then checked the arrival of the {5-Clubs} turn, but Gonzalez was in no mood for checking for a second time. Instead, he led for 28,000. Only Kelly called and it was off to the {4-Clubs} river. Gonzalez check-called a 45,000 bet from Kelly but then angrily slammed his cards onto the felt when Kelly opened the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

The very next hand, Gonzalez open-shoved from the small blind with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and kelly called with {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. By the turn Kelly had made a flush and Gonzalez's WSOP dream ended.

Sears Check-Raise Wins Him a Pot

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

From the cutoff, Martin Finger opened and both Nikolai Sears (small blind) and Benjamin Pollak (big blind) called.

The first three community cards read {4-Clubs}{K-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked to Finger. After a brief pause, Finger made it 20,000 to play and it looked like that would be the end of the hand. That was until Sears sprung into life with a check-raise to 48,000. Sears bet was too much for Pollak to call, and Finger folded soon after.

Connor Allisen Eliminated in 18th Place ($19,475)

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded around to Martin Finger on the button and he announced all in, having both shorter stacks in the blinds covered. The small blind folded and Connor Allisen squeezed out both of his cards and quickly called.

Allisen: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Finger: {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Allisen's tens were ahead but that quickly changed after the flop brought {2-Spades}{A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The {6-Clubs} turned and the {9-Clubs} rivered, ensuring that Allisen would finish with the second-best hand. Finger raked in the pot and is now sitting on 450,000.

Stout Takes Gigantic Pot From Finger

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Matt Stout
Matt Stout

Preflop Matt Stout raised to 14,000. On the button Martin Finger raised to 30,000. Action folded back to Stout who four bet to 70,000. Finger put in a fifth bet to 110,000 and finally Stout stopped the preflop action by just calling.

The flop came {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Stout checked to Finger. Finger put out a bet of 50,000 which prompted Stout to put in the relatively quick check raise to 120,000.

Finger went into the tank, but not for too long before he folded his hand.

Stout started raking in the chips then he grabbed one of his cards and flung it face up across the table. It was the {8-Diamonds}.

"Can you beat an {8-}?" Stout asked Finger, sticking the needle in deeper.

Stout and Finger locked eyes across the table and continued to stare each other down as Stout stacked up Finger's chips.

Timoshenko Taken Away

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Yevgeniy Timoshenko
Yevgeniy Timoshenko

Andrew Dean and Yevgeniy Timoshenko got the money in preflop and the two of them were off to a showdown.

Timoshenko: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Dean: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The flop came down {2-}{3-}{4-} giving Timoshenko a set and the lead. It was looking good for Timoshenko to double up on the {10-} turn as well, but the {5-} on the river was a dream crusher to Timoshenko as it gave Dean the winning straight. Timoshenko hit the rail in 19th place and collected $15,509 for his run.

Rosen Takes Away Deep Pusani

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jamie Rosen opened the action by raising to 14,000 preflop. On the button Deep Pusani raised to 30,000. Action folded back around to Rosen who moved all in with a covering stack and Pusani called quickly.

Rosen: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Pusani: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop came {3-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Spades} giving Pusani no extra outs, but the {9-Diamonds} on the turn gave him at least four more. Unfortunately for him the {3-Clubs} on the river wasn't one of those outs and he hit the rail in 20th place collecting $15,509 for his run.
