With two levels at the lowest blinds now in the books, many of the game's stars are taking their seats for the first time, including a pair of former WSOP Main Event Champions.
Greg Raymer (2004) and Joe Hachem (2005), who shot to poker stardom by taking down the game's biggest prize, are both in the field as of a few minutes ago, and with 2009 champ Joe Cada sitting near the PokerNewsLive Reporting station as well, this $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em event promises to provide a high-level of play throughout.

Devo Fires Twice Before Folding

After his earlier skirmish with a rogue dealer, Bryan "Devo" Devonshire was hoping to direct his frustration productively in the pusuit of chips, but so far he has been unable to gain any traction.
In a recent hand, Devonshire fired two barrels on the flop and turn, but a reraise forced him to abort the mission.
With the flop showing 
, and Devo holding the button, the experienced pro responded to his opponent's check with a bet of 600, and the player called out of the small blind. When the 
hit the board, the player checked again, and Devo fired out again for 1,200. When his opponent tossed out a stack of yellow T1000 tournament chips, however, Devonshire quickly tossed his cards to the dealer.

Daniel Negreanu and Carlos Mortensen have played thousands of hands against one another during their long poker careers, and that familiarity was evident in their most recent encounter.
With the board reading 
, Mortensen check-called a bet, and both players checked when a blank arrived on the river.
Negreanu quickly opened up his hand, with 
a prominent part of his holding, and he told Mortensen happily "pretty sure I'm good here."
Mortensen smiled in reply, looking at the board once more before checking his own hand.
"Oh, I have a straight," said the Matador, turning over four mismatched hole cards.
Negreanu could only ask, "a straight?" before quickly laughing and dragging the pot.
Keikoan's Day is Done

, two checked put action on Matt Keikoan in the hijack and he bet 750. Paul Volpe folded the button, the small blind did the same and then the big blind woke up with an all-in check-raise to 2,700. Keikoan only had 2,775 and made the call.

Keikoan got it in good with top set, but his opponent held massive draws to both a straight and flush. The 
turn completed the said flush and left Keikoan in need of a paired board on the river, but it wasn't in the cards as the 
peeled off.
Keikoan was left with 75 in chips, but they disappeared the very next hand. Likewise, Ashly Butler has been eliminated from the tournament.
