Ho Scoops Ivey

Level 17
Maria Ho
Maria Ho

Phil Ivey opened with a raise and Maria Ho called from the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the two were heads up to the flop.

The flop came down {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Spades} and Ivey continued out with a bet. Ho called to see the turn which was the {J-Clubs}. Ivey fired once again and Ho stayed the course. The river brought the {5-Diamonds} and Ivey fired another big bet into the middle. Ho came over the top with a raise, however, and Ivey flat called.

Ho fanned {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a rivered set of fives and the nut low. Ivey looked almost stunned as he picked his cards up off of the felt, went to muck, looked at them once more, and finally threw them away. Ho scooped up the pot and is now sitting pretty around 140,000 while Ivey has fallen from grace and now has about 30,000 in chips.

You Know Dasher and Danzer

Level 17

Francesco Barbaro opened with a late position raise and his only caller was George Danzer from the big blind. The flop brought {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Danzer checked it over to the raiser and Barbero checked behind. The turn saw the {K-Hearts} and Danzer fired out a bet. Barbero called and the river was the {Q-Spades}.

Danzer dropped down one more bet and Barbero decided to let it go. Danzer dragged in the pot and now has around 120,000 in chips.

Michael Moed Eliminated By Dan Kelly

Level 17

A short-stacked Michael Moed was all in from the button for about 9,000 against against Dan Kelly in the big blind and Paul Sokoloff in early position.

Kelly check-called bets from Sokoloff all the way down the {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} board.

Sokoloff: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Kelly: {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Moed: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Kelly's nine-high straight bested Sokoloff's eight-high straight and Moed's set for the high, while Kelly's 7-6-5-3-A low beat Sokoloff's 7-6-5-4-A low and Moed's 7-6-5-3-2 low to scoop the pot and score the elimination.
