Gnatenko Tanks

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Oleksandr Gnatenko had made a 13,500 chip call on a board of {7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. He took a river with his opponent of the {10-Diamonds}. Gnatenko proceeds to fire out his entire stack of 54,300. This put Gnatenko into the tank. He sits for over 3 minutes not saying a word. Finally he released his hand. He still had an above average stack of 185,000

Three Streets of Value for Lakhov

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Erick Lindgren checked to Alexander Lakhov on a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and the Russian fired out 5,200. E-Dog called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}, Lindgren check-called another 12,200 from Lakhov, and the {5-Diamonds} completed the board. Lindgren checked a third time, Lakhov fired a final bullet worth 15,000, and Lindgren called.

The Russian showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for top-pair, and Lindgren mucked his hand.

Watson Doubles Kerignard

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In a battle of the blinds Mike Watson opened to 4,000. Frenchman Yorane Kerignard made it 10,100 to go from the big blind and called instantly when Watson put him all in for 56,000 total. Watson showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and was in a race situation with Kerignard's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. The board came {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} | {K-Spades} | {5-Spades} and Watson had to give some chips to his neighbor.

Lieu Ships Most of Stack Again

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Last time Paul Lieu had sent a bunch of his chips away. He apparently doubled because he had chips when we saw him a few minutes ago. But yet again he sent most of his stack away when his opponent pulled a river full house of {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} on a {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} board. Lieu did not seem to happy and after the count he went down to 13,000. We will see if he can double again or if he finally gets shipped off for good.

Small Pot for Big Dog

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Brandon Cantu raised to 5,500 from under the gun, Barry "Big Dog" Lang called in the cutoff, and the button and both blinds released. The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, Cantu continued for 6,600, and Lang snap-called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs}, Cantu opted to check, and Lang fired out 13,000. Cantu released, and the Big Dog raked in the pot.

Cantu Busts Vedes

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Tommy Vedes
Tommy Vedes

Daniel Negreanu raised to 3,500 from first position. Brandon Cantu called on the button, Tommy Vedes called out of the small blind, and Erick Lindgren min-three-bet to 5,400 from the big blind. All three players called.

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Vedes open-shipped for 7,200, and the action folded to Cantu, who called.

Vedes: {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Cantu: {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds} on the turn was a brick, Cantu was already open-ended, but the {j-Clubs} spiked on the river to give him Broadway. Vedes was eliminated, and here are counts from the table:
