No. 12 Jason Koon Defeats No. 4 Dan Healey

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Jason Koon advances
Jason Koon advances

Jason Koon raised to 24,000 on the button, Dan Healey three-bet all in for 200,000, and Koon called.

Koon: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Healey: {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop didn't change anything, and the {a-Diamonds} turned, ending the hand. A meaningless {2-Diamonds} completed the board, and Koon advances to the round of four.

Timoshenko Shoves; The Stacks Even

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

At the time of this hand blinds for the match were 5,000/10,000 with a 1,000 ante. From the button Yevgeniy Timoshenko opened to 20,000. Isaac Hagerling called from the big blind.

On the {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop Hagerling checked to Timoshenko who bet 20,000. Hagerling reraised to 50,000. Timoshenko thought about it for a bit, then reraised to 120,000. Hagerling just called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Hagerling checked again. Timoshenko moved all in and Hagerling quickly folded.

"Seven?" Timoshenko asked after the hand. We aren't sure if he was referring to his hand or his chips stack. Either way Hagerling didn't answer.

Just a few hands after, Timoshenko opened to 20,000. Hagerling raised to 55,000. Timoshenko put in a fourth bet to 120,000 and Hagerling folded.

Hagerling Pulls Back Ahead

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Isaac Hagerling raised to 30,000 on the button and Yevgeniy Timoshenko called from the big blind.

The {K-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop was checked by both, resulting in the {J-Clubs} turn card. Timoshenko checked to Hagerling who bet 30,000. After about two minutes, Timoshenko raised to 75,000. A call from Hagerling landed the {7-Spades} river. Timoshenko bet 125,000 after a few moments.

Hagerling called and upon seeing Timoshenko's {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, Hagerling tabled {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush to win the pot.

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After extending his lead a little more, Max Steinberg called a 16,000-chip raise from Jason Koon. Steinberg then check-called 22,000 more on a flop of {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}, and the pair checked when the {a-Clubs} turned. Steinberg called, the mucked when Koon showed {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a flush.
