Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

At 5,000/10,000/1,000

Isaac Hagerling raised to 20,000 on the button and Nick Binger shoved from the big blind. Hagerling called all in for 315,100.

Binger: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Hagerling: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{K-Spades}, bringing no help to Binger and doubling up Hagerling.

At 5,000/10,000/1,000

Isaac Hagerling shoved on the button and Nick Binger called all in from the big blind for about 55,000.

Hagerling: {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Binger: {K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The flop fell {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} to give Hagerling the lead and he locked it up when the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn. The inconsequential {8-Diamonds} river officially punched Hagerling's ticket to the Round of Eight.

Hagerling is set to face Yevgeniy Timoshenko at 7:45 p.m. local time.

"No F***ing Way"

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Brandon Cantu
Brandon Cantu

It looked as if there would be a winner for the match between Brandon Cantu and Max Steinberg, but things turned out to be a little different than they appeared.

Cantu opened the pot by raising to 10,000 on the button. Steinberg defended from the big blind.

On the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Spades} board Steinberg checked to Cantu who continued with a bet of 11,000. Steinberg thought about it briefly, then raised to 30,000. Cantu just called.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and that card got the fireworks started.

Steinberg led at the pot with a bet of 52,000. Cantu thought for a while before reraising to 160,000. Now it was Steinberg's turn to go into the tank. He thought a good while before putting in another raise to 275,000. Cantu went into the tank. He asked for the dealer to put in the bet to see how much it was he would have to call. It ended up being 115,000 more. Cantu grabbed the chips off his stack and put them into the pot.

The river card was the {2-Spades}. Steinberg grabbed all of his green T25,000 chips, coupled with a stack of pink T5,000 chips and put them in the pot, betting 330,000. Cantu asked for a count and after he found out how much it was me moved all in. Steinberg instantly called.

Cantu showed down his {J-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a full house. Steinberg slowly turned over his {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, meaning that both players had the exact same full house.

"No f***ing way!" Cantu said after the hand.

The dealer chopped up the pot and both players took their chips back.

Johnson Slipping; Ausmus Climbing

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jeremy Ausmus opened the pot to 10,000 from the button. From the big blind Chirs Johnson reraised to 25,000. Ausmus called.

The two men took to a flop of {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} where Johnson led out for 30,000. Ausmus just called.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Johnson led again, this time for 70,000.

On the {5-Spades} river, both players checked.

Ausmus turned over his {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a flopped set and it was good enough to take the pot down as Johnson mucked his hand.

Johnson Claws His Way Back In

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

After a raise and a call preflop, Chris Johnson and Jeremy Ausmus took to a flop of {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Johnson led with a bet of 11,000 and was called by Ausmus.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Johnson led at the pot again, this time for 21,000. Ausmus decided to reraise to 61,000, and Johnson called.

The river was the {K-Spades} and both players checked. Johnson showed the {K-Clubs}{10-} and it was good enough to take down the pot from Ausmus who mucked.

Steinberg Over a Million

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Max Steinberg raised to 12,000 on the button, Brandon Cantu three-bet to 36,000, and Steinberg made the call.

Cantu fired out 40,000 when the flop fell {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Steinberg called, and both players checked on the turn ({q-Spades}) and the river ({3-Diamonds}). Steinberg showed {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for king-high, and dragged in the pot.

The flop fell {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Hagerling led out for 35,000, and Timoshenko called. The turn was the {7-Hearts}, Hagerling checked, and Timoshenko fired out 70,000. Hagerling folded.
