A Sloppy Win for Ashton

Level 9

Stud Hi-Lo

Chris Klodnicki: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Hearts}{k-Hearts} / {x-}
Sergey Rybachenko: {x-}{x-} / {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades} / {x-}
Matthew Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} / {x-}

We picked up the action on fifth street when Matthew Ashton paired queens and fired out a bet. Both Chris Klodnicki and Sergey Rybachenko called, and then the same action occurred on sixth. All three players proceeded to check sixth and Rybachenko showed the {a-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Ashton then tabled the {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for both a flush and a low.

Klodnicki mucked, Rybachenko followed suit and the table wondered aloud why Ashton didn't bet the river.
