Kostritsyn Runs into Flush

Level 6

Stud Hi-Lo

Shawn Buchanan brought in for 100 and found one caller before Alexander Kostritsyn completed to 400. Buchanan called before the player in the middle raised. Kostritsyn and Buchanan called before the Russian led for 400 on fourth. Buchanan folded before the other player made it two bets. Kostritsyn made it three bets and was called before he called bets on each subsequent street.

Buchanan: {X-}{X-} / {3-Spades}{K-Clubs} (folded on fourth)
Opponent: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} / {X-}
Kostritsyn: {X-}{X-} / {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} / {X-}

Kostritsyn's opponent tabled his {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} / {8-Spades} and scooped the pot from the Russian to see his stack slip to 18,000 in chips.

Hellmuth vs. Seidel

Level 6

Stud Hi-Lo

Erik Seidel: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} / {x-}
Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} / {x-}

We picked up the action on fifth street when Erik Seidel bet and Phil Hellmuth raised. Seidel responded by three-betting to 3,000 and then called when Hellmuth four-bet to 4,000. Seidel proceeded to check-call a bet on sixth before both players checked seventh.

"I'm supposed to bet this," Hellmuth admitted before showing that he started with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} in the hole and caught the {J-Diamonds} on seventh. His trips were good as Seidel sent his hand to the muck unseen.

Sung and Richey Chipping Up

Level 6

Limit Hold'em

The action folded to Steve Sung on the button and he made it 800. Brett Richey in the big blind defended before checking the {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop.

Sung continued for 400 and Richey snap-raised to 800 to force Sung's cards into the muck.

Although it wasn't a huge pot, both Sung and Richey are up the top of the leaderboard as Sung has a healthy 41,000 while Richey is sitting with 26,000 in chips.

"Six No Good?"

Level 6

Razz

Brandon Shack-Harris: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{a-}{q-}{6-} / {x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {8-}{5-}{9-}{10-} / {x-}

We picked up action on sixth street when Brandon Shack-Harris bet and Eli Elezra called. Elezra then encouraged Shack-Harris to bet in the dark, which he did. Elezra made the call on seventh and Shack-Harris tabled {8-}{5-}{j-}. He caught the jack which meant he went in with an 8-6-5-2-A low.

Elezra squeezed out his cards, which was a {6-}, and asked, "Six no good?" It wasn't as it only gave him an 8-6-5-4-A low.
